2.75" Teaser Minnow
This little bait is responsible for catching multiple trophy rainbow's, brown trout, cutthroat and even steelhead. The Teaser Minnow is a proven winner fished in a variety of different presentations, every Trout fishermen should have some in their arsenal.
When the bite is tough on the river, rig the Teaser Minnow on a jig and watch those lockjaw fish start to bite again. The small, unassuming profile of this bait makes it so easy for both aggressive and wary fish to eat. Unlike other "minnow" imitations on the market, this bait is actually shaped like a minnow, rather than having a tail flopping around in the wrong direction, the Teaser Minnow tail sways back and forth with the current, just like a real minnow.
Fishing Tip: For steelhead and trout in rivers (works for smallmouth bass too), we recommend fishing these baits on an 1/32, 1/16, or 1/8 oz jig. Hook size depends on the size of trout you're catching, for your freshly planted 8" hatchery trout, don't go bigger than a #6 hook. Let the water flow determine the jig size needed (round ball no collar works best). Cast and retrieve with a slight twitch every few cranks of the reel and get ready, they'll smash it when you least expect it.
